Essential services and site access —

Located at the entrance of BESIDE LAO site in the Eastern Townships (formerly Laö Cabines), the main pavilion is accessible to all guests. This is where your stay begins: parking, information, and access to essential services. To preserve the site's calm atmosphere, all movement beyond this point is done on foot. Wheeled carts — and sleds in winter — are available to help you transport your belongings to your unit.

The BESIDE LAO thermal spa place to settle

Behind the pavilion, the thermal area unfolds quietly among the trees. Featuring two spas and a sauna, it invites you to slow down and extend the benefits of a stay in nature—on both body and mind.

Accessible year-round, the sauna offers enveloping warmth after a day outdoors, while the spas invite you to release tension and fully settle into the moment.

Access is by reservation on site, at the pavilion, in 45-minute time slots to ensure a calm and private experience. A sign-up sheet is available at reception—simply add your name upon arrival to reserve your session.

No. Access to the BESIDE LAO thermal spa (two hot tubs and one sauna) is included in the stay rate, whether for a tiny cabin or RV site. Only the 45-minute time slots must be reserved on site to preserve privacy for each group. Towels and personal supplies are bring-your-own or available for rent at the welcome pavilion.

Is the pavilion accessible to visitors without a reservation?

The main pavilion is accessible to all visitors (information, trails, equipment rentals). However, the thermal spa with hot tubs and sauna and the tiny cabins are reserved for those with a booking at BESIDE LAO (formerly Laö Cabines). For a visit without a stay, contact the team: depending on availability, a one-off welcome may be arranged.
