From our smallest retreat at Laö Cabines, the starry sky and the pond reveal themselves through the trees. This compact and warm cabin is designed to anchor you in the rhythm of nature in the Eastern Townships.

Is the Mousse the cheapest tiny cabin to rent at Laö?

Yes. At $105/night, the Mousse is our most affordable tiny cabin rental among the cabins (the RV sites at $60/night are spaces for recreational vehicles). For a couple's stay on a small budget at Laö Cabines, the Mousse offers a tiny cabin for 2 with electric hookup, near the welcome pavilion and just 50 m from the parking lot.

Does the Mousse have a toilet inside the cabin?

No. Unlike our other tiny cabins, the Mousse has no toilet in the cabin itself. Toilets and showers are located at the welcome pavilion, just steps away. That's what allows us to keep the rate so low for this tiny cabin for rent for 2. If you want a toilet inside the cabin, choose the Coteau ($120/night) or another unit with a composting toilet.

Is the Mousse close to the spa and sauna?

Yes, that's its main strength: the Mousse is one of our tiny cabins closest to the welcome pavilion and the thermal spa with hot tubs and sauna. The pond and wellness facilities are immediately accessible just steps away. For a short stay focused on relaxation rather than total isolation, the Mousse is our most practical micro cabin for rent.

Can I bring a dog to the Mousse?

No. Pets are not allowed at the Mousse. For a tiny cabin rental with dog at Laö Cabines, your options are the Coteau ($120, 2 guests, fully equipped), the Orée ($150, 4 guests, modular), the Cime ($170, 2 guests, off-grid rustic), or the Wild Canopée. All these tiny cabins allow dogs (additional fees apply) and offer different comfort levels.

How do I get to the Mousse from Magog?

The Mousse is in Racine, in the Eastern Townships, 30 minutes from Magog and 45 minutes from Bromont. Once on the Laö site, count just 50 m of walking from the parking lot — it's our most accessible tiny cabin in the Eastern Townships. For a tiny cabin near Magog or an affordable, easily accessible micro cabin in the Eastern Townships, it's our best suggestion.
